Ordering & Delivery

INFORMATION: TERMS & DELIVERY/SHIPPING

ORDER PROCESS: For web ordering, Oley Valley Reproductions will contact you before order is processed to confirm order (including finish selection, size, and options of furniture to be built) and delivery/shipping options and costs. Orders may also be placed by phone at (610) 689-5885.

"WHAT'S AVAILABLE NOW" ORDERS: Items already built are available to view and purchase immediately from our shop. These items are listed on the WHAT'S AVAILABLE NOW page of this web site. Full payment is requested for these items. (Other items listed on our web site are available for order following the "All Other Orders" instructions below). Pennsylvania residents also pay 6% sales tax which will be reflected on order forms for Pennsylvania addresses. Shipping costs are extra and paid for separately.

ALL OTHER ORDERS: One half deposit (50% of price) is requested when ordering furniture to be built as shown on the web or with options/size/finish you request. Completion time usually 3 months, but may be shorter depending on our the item and our schedule. Final payment due before item shipped. Pennsylvania residents also pay 6% sales tax which will be reflected on order forms for Pennsylvania addresses. Shipping costs are extra and paid for separately.

SECURE CREDIT CARD ORDERING: Your credit card information is transmitted securely to Oley Valley Reproductions. We use our standard merchant bank and input all orders manually after confirming your order with you. Full price is submitted for WHAT'S AVAILABLE NOW orders and 50% of full price is submitted for all other orders. The remaining 50% of full price for orders will be charged to your credit card upon completion of the order.

PICK UP: Pieces can always be picked up at Oley Valley Reproductions in Oley, Pennsylvania Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or Saturday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm or by appointment.

UPS/FedEx SHIPPING: Some smaller items can be sent via UPS such as the hanging corner cupboard or Shaker two-drawer chest. We are glad to obtain an estimate from UPS or FedEx for you.

LOCAL DELIVERY: We often use a local delivery service for delivery to the mid-Atlantic area. We are glad to assist in arranging delivery and obtaining an estimate. You are responsible for paying delivery fees when items are delivered.

RETURNS: Oley Valley Reproductions items can be returned for repair or replacement at the discretion of OVR at no cost to the customer if it is determined there was a flaw in construction or finishing. Transport or shipment to and from our facility for such consideration is the responsibility of the customer although we are happy to assist with the arrangements where possible. For all other items sold by OVR the terms and conditions remain as with OVR products and OVR assumes no liability beyond that which is stated above. For returns of items purchased from the showroom floor where the item is returned within one (1) week of the date of purchase, accompanied by the original sales receipt and in the same condition as when it was purchased, and subject to review by Oley Valley Reproductions, the customer has the option of either a store credit for the net amount of the purchase or a refund of the net amount minus a 25% (twenty-five per cent) restocking fee. Oley Valley Reproductions may refuse a return based on either or both of the following: (1) the amount of time that has elapsed since the item was purchased, and (2) the condition of the item being returned.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Custom orders constitute either one of our regular items modified by either size, color, or architecture to meet the customer's requirements, or an completely new item built entirely to the customer's specifications. Custom orders are always confirmed in writing and color samples must be confirmed by date and signature of the customer as well. Once a custom order is placed, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Completed custom orders that meet the exact specifications and color confirmation of the customer's order cannot be returned except at the discretion of Oley Valley Reproductions at which time the item will be placed for sale by Oley Valley Reproductions. Upon sale of the item, the cost of the order as originally determined by the order itself will be refunded to the customer minus 25% (twenty-five per cent) of said amount, net of any applicable sales tax. Tranport costs, if applicable, will also be deducted from the ammount to be returned to the customer.

SHIPPING NATIONWIDE: We are glad to assist in arranging and obtaining an estimate for shipping nationwide from freight companies we have used in the past. Keep in mind that shipping and delivery charges are based on minimum weight and distance. You are responsible for paying the shipping company for all shipping costs upon delivery.

ORDER CANCELLATION: Once an order has been placed it may be cancelled without charge up to five (5) days from the date of placement of order. After five days, and up to the point where work is commenced on the order, a 10% (Ten percent) charge on the net total of the order will be assessed. Once the order is in production, the deposit is non-refundable.
